Pedestrian plaza returns to Upper Trafalgar Street

Trafalgar Street between Hardy Street and Selwyn Place will reopen to pedestrians only from 6am this Thursday (8 November).

There will be no access for vehicles (excluding emergency vehicles) right through the summer, until 30 April 2019. 

Many of the businesses in the area will be extending their outdoor dining areas but there are also public spaces for everyone to enjoy.

These will feature tables, chairs and some over-sized games so don’t forget to stop in and enjoy it when you are exploring everything the central city has to offer this summer.
