Did you know that when your child car seat expires or is damaged, it doesn't have to go to landfill?

Keep kids safe and help the environment by recycling expired car seats at Baby on the Move at 4 Akersten Street, Port Nelson.

The materials will be re-purposed and all you will have to pay is $10 per seat thanks to a Council subsidy.

This not only means recyclable materials like metal and plastic avoid landfill, but also helps employ people with disabilities or who are disadvantaged.

For more information on the Seat Smart Programme subsidy visit Council's website.
