Even though we are back at Alert Level 1, masks are still mandatory on all public transport in New Zealand, including Nelson’s NBus.

When used and disposed of correctly, masks work to both reduce the risk of infected people infecting others, and help protect uninfected people from catching the virus.

Children under the age of 12 will be exempt from these requirements, as will people with certain medical conditions. Children and young people travelling on school buses are also exempt from mask requirements.

Be kind and courteous to other passengers and drivers.

Remember to stay at home if you are unwell.

Wearing is caring. Kia mau, kia tau.
