Matariki planting at the Maitai Dam

You are invited to join Nelson City Council and the RSA for a special Matariki planting at the Maitai Dam.
This project is supported by the Matariki Tu Rākau Programme led by Te Uru Rākau Forestry New Zealand and is part of the many initiatives around the country marking the 100-year anniversary of the end of the First World War. It is also part of the Government’s One Billion Trees Programme.
Where: Maitai Dam
When: Sat 22 June, 1pm – 3 pm
Head to the Maitai Dam kiosk and follow the gravel road along the river that crosses the dam spillway.
Please wear suitable footwear and bring a spade and gloves if you have them.
