Remission of rates for heritage maintenance

Applications are open until 31 August 2022 for a remission of rates for heritage maintenance.
Nelson City Council offers rates remissions to encourage the retention and maintenance of Group A or B listed heritage buildings. This recognises the higher costs of looking after a heritage building.
Information has been sent out to eligible property owners.
This is the second year of a three-year cycle, so successful applicants who applied last year do not need to reapply.
