Rural water users survey

Following the drought which affected Nelson in summer 2019, we’re running a survey to find out how our rural water users got on with the water restrictions that took effect, so we can make sure we are well prepared for future droughts.

We want to know how people heard about the restrictions, how they responded, and whether there are things we should know about how the restrictions affected them.

If you’re a rural water user who was affected by the water restrictions, please go to the water restrictions survey on our website and let us know how we did. The survey is open from 1 – 21 September. Respondents will go in the draw to win a handy hose timer to help save water in the summertime.
