Brought to you by Nelson City Council and Sport Tasman, cycle to work and pick up a free breakfast on 8, 9 and 10 February between 7-9am.
It is an excellent opportunity to get some fresh air, celebrate cycling and maybe even pick up a spot prize!

- Go By Bike Day Nelson at Railway Reserve behind Broadgreen Intermediate on Tuesday 8 February
- Go By Bike Day Nelson at Burrell Park, Tahunanui on Wednesday 9 February
- Go By Bike Day Nelson at Rutherford Park beside the skatepark on Thursday 10 February
Go By Bike Day events will take place at COVID level Red, with no vaccine pass required.
Staff will be wearing masks, there will be a QR code, hand sanitiser, regular cleaning and riders are encouraged to wear a mask while attending too.
Go By Bike Day coincides with the ‘Aotearoa Bike Challenge 2022’ which is happening throughout the month of February across New Zealand.
Aotearoa Bike Challenge is a fun, free competition that is all about seeing which workplaces or groups can get the most people to ride a bike for just 10 minutes or more.
Nelson City Council is challenging Tasman District Council and encourages local businesses to get involved.
