Council is always available by phone 03 546 0200 for emergencies.

NBus Services

25 Dec: No service on any routes.
26 Dec, 1 and 2 Jan: Routes 1 and 2 will operate on the Saturday timetable. No services on routes 3-7.

ADDITIONAL LATE LATE BUS NEW YEAR'S EVE

Only Nelson stop will be on the corner of Rutherford and Hardy Streets, next to the NZDF.
Nelson to Richmond (via Tahunanui): 10:00pm, 11:00pm, 1am, 2am, 3:15am
Richmond to Nelson (via Bishopdale): 10:30pm, 11:30pm, 1:30am, 2:30am, 3:45am

Nelson Public Libraries

All libraries will close 4:00pm on Christmas Eve.

Recycling and Nelmac Rubbish Collection

No recycling and Nelmac rubbish collection on 25 Dec or 1 Jan. Collection will remain the same for Monday 24 and 31 December. The usual collection will be moved a day later than usual for both weeks (excluding Mondays). For example, if your usual collection is a Tuesday, it will be collected on Wednesday. Friday collection will be done on a Saturday. Collection will return to the usual days 7 January 2019. Please check with your provider for other collection services.
