In a full Council meeting on 23 September, Nelson City Councillors considered the private plan change request submitted by CCKV Dev Co LP and Bayview Nelson Limited for Maitahi Bayview.

Elected members decided to accept the plan change to continue to a Resource Management Act (RMA) Schedule 1 process. A Schedule 1 process involves public notification and hearing of the plan change application.

The plan change was publicly notified on 28 October 2021, and the public are welcome to make submissions until 5pm on Wednesday 8 December 2021.
