Trafalgar Street closure

From Monday 22 May - Friday 26 May, Trafalgar Street will be closed to Northbound traffic from Halifax Street.
Those coming to the city off State Highway 6 will be diverted down Grove Street. Access to residential streets will be from Collingwood Street. Access to the Hathaway Terrace carpark may be disrupted with severe delays, our recommendation is to find an alternative option for the week.
The road is closed so Fulton Hogan can upgrade the road surface which will include removing sections of the road and replacing it with new asphalt surface. The road surface is being resurfaced with new asphalt to extend the life of the pavement, and repair surface failings such as cracking and potholing that have become evident in the recent 12-18 months.
