​If you are new to cycling, just getting back on your bike or simply want to improve your skills, you can enrol for one of these free adult cycle skills and maintenance sessions.

Nelson City Council is making these available to help all cyclists increase their skill levels so they feel more confident and safer on the road. 

The sessions are free of charge but numbers are limited so you do need to register. The registration form is available here on the Council website.

  • Saturday 15 June, 10am – 12pm, Maitai shared path behind the Library. Non e-bikes only.
  • Saturday 22 June, 10am – 12pm, Maitai shared path behind the Library. E-bikes only.
  • Saturday 29 June, 10am – 12pm, Maitai shared path behind the Library. All bike types – to include 30 minutes on blind zones and wheel tracking with Kelvin Aris from sharetheroad.org.nz.
