Not sure what ward you’re in for the upcoming local election?

Use our interactive map tool to find out. Simply type your address into the search bar to see your voting ward and to view ward boundaries.

If you are enrolled on the Māori Electoral Roll, your ward will be the Whakatū Māori Ward, no matter where you live in Nelson. You will be able to vote for the Mayor, one Māori ward councillor and three “at large” councillors.

For those on the General Roll, your ward will either be the Central Ward or the Stoke-Tāhunanui Ward. You will be able to vote for the Mayor, four general ward councillors in your area, and three “at large” councillors.
