With New Zealand at COVID-19 Alert Level 3, the latest edition of Our Nelson Tō Tātou Whakatū is available online only.

This week’s issue looks at what the move to Alert Level 3 means for the people of Nelson and Nelson City Council's services, a long-awaited return to mountain biking on our trails, changes to our city centre layout and how a 0% rates rise could be achieved in the 2020/21 Draft Annual Plan.

Consultation on the Draft Annual Plan is extended to 6 May, so the public can have their say on the proposal. You can make a submission on the Nelson City Council website or by phoning 03 546 0200.

With the safety of the public our main concern, we have again joined forces with the Nelson Marlborough District Health Board. We also have information for businesses courtesy of the Nelson Regional Development Agency and an exciting new campaign called Let's Get Clicking Nelson, brought to you by Council and Uniquely Nelson, aimed at getting people to shop online at Nelson city centre retailers.

While you are spending time at home, please take a moment to read it and share it throughout your online community networks.

Be kind, stay home, save lives.
