Rose Sunday celebration popular at Broadgreen Historic House

Nelsonians turned out to enjoy the beautiful flowers on display at Rose Sunday: A Celebration of Roses at Broadgreen Historic House on Sunday 14 November.

Members of the Nelson Districts Rose Society, Heritage Roses, and Nelson Orchid Society showcased their finest roses and orchid displays, including heritage roses which can be traced back to when they were first brought to New Zealand by European immigrants.

Thanks to everyone that came along to enjoy the occasion, a picnic lunch and some fresh air wandering in the Samuels Rose Gardens.

Broadgreen Historic House was also open for visitors to explore.
