Sign up now for easy dog registration

Now is a good time to sign up for Dogs Online, so you can do your dog registration the quick and easy way.

Dog registrations will be due in June this year. If you have signed up to our customer database to receive your rates or water bill by email, then you will automatically receive your dog registration invoice by email.

If you are not already set up for online dog registration and payment, go to my.nelson.govt.nz and create an account – you will then receive your dog registration by email and can pay online.

All dogs over three months of age on 1 July must have a current registration.

If you need any help setting up an account,logging in or registering your dog, contact Council’s Customer Service Centre on 03 546 0200. Just remember, however you do it, all dogs need to be registered by 1 July.
