Nelson Public Libraries, in association with the Ngaio Marsh Awards, is delighted to be hosting Liz Nugent at an author talk at the Elma Turner Library.

Liz grew up in Ireland during the ‘troubles’ in the 1980s and currently lives in Dublin. 

She is an award-winning novelist, writing dark literary psychological thrillers with strikingly original characters. 

She was named Irish Woman of the Year in Literature in 2017 and her novels (Unravelling Oliver, Lying in Wait and Skin Deep) have won awards and been translated into 14 languages. 

Come and hear Liz in conversation with local journalist Amy Ridout, who has lived and reported from all over the world. 

The talk, supported by Page & Blackmore, will be at 2pm Saturday 5 October.
